Sam discovered  storytelling while growing up on Chicago’s south side. He immersed himself in many forms of dramatic arts such as sword fighting, ladder fighting, Shakespeare, improv, Chekhov, and low flying trapeze. New skies and roads came as Muñoz backpacked through the Sierra Nevada, explored the abandoned Calico mines of Barstow, rode horses across Montana’s vast terrain, hiked the dirt roads of central Mexico drinking horchata. Sam’s love for exploring led him across the USA acting, teaching, studying, surfing amongst Great Whites in Hawaii, hanging off the edges of the Grand Canyon, bathing naked in the hot springs of Idaho, and howling amongst the sky-touching Redwoods of Trinidad, California. He is married to the love of his life, Jordan Maya Conrad Muñoz, father to the sweet love of his life baby Ciel Calypso Muñoz.
